Virgie Slept with Her Brother?

This is pretty freakin gross. TMZ reports that Virgie Slept with her Step Brother and had a child.

Here's the deal: Virgie's mom, Paralee, married a guy named Melvin and had Virgie. In another part of Texas, a guy named George William Tacker got together with this chick named Betty Jo and had a son named David Luther Tacker. Then Paralee and George got married, so Virgie and David became their stepkids. They were all one big happy family -- maybe too happy, because Virgie hooked up with her stepbro to produce David Luther Tacker, Jr.

So, David Sr. is Virgie's stepbrother and her baby daddy.

First. Slap this Hilly Billy Beeotch for being a damn incestuous inbred.

Second, Punch her Step Brother for tagging such nasty pig!

What's even worse is that some of you are saying "whats wrong with that? "
E wwww... I may not be able to sleep tonight...hold me! Not you Virgie! ..Yuck!

Larry Birkhead Is Dannielynns' Father

DNA tests prove it: Larry Birkhead is the father of Anna Nicole Smith's million-dollar baby.

"I told you so!" the late Playboy Playmate's former boyfriend said Tuesday upon emerging from a closed court hearing. He added: "My baby's going to be coming home pretty soon."

Birkhead, a 34-year-old California photographer, then hugged his rival, Howard K. Stern, who has been caring for baby Dannielynn since Smith's sudden death in February.

The hearing was a pivotal moment in the battle over who gets custody of the girl, who could inherit a fortune from the estate of Smith's late husband, J. Howard Marshall II. Although Birkhead is the father, Stern's name is on the birth certificate. Another custody hearing was scheduled for Friday.

Stern, who was Smith's lawyer and later became her companion, said he wouldn't fight for custody, but a lawyer for Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, indicated she might. The judge scheduled another hearing for Friday in the pink colonial courthouse to discuss who will raise the girl, who could inherit hundreds of millions of dollars.

Stern said he loved the baby despite the DNA results and would support Birkhead.

"I'm obviously very disappointed, but my feelings for Dannielynn have not changed," he said, adding of Birkhead: "I'm going to do whatever I can to make sure he gets sole custody."

Birkhead had been fighting for custody of Dannielynn even before Smith's death.

"Nothing's been determined except parentage and I'm the father," Birkhead said. "It's been a long road and I'm just happy to have this behind me."

A crowd of about 250 people, many of them tourists, cheered from behind police barricades when Birkhead, clutching a piece of paper, announced the DNA test results. The court's DNA expert, Dr. Michael Baird, confirmed it.

"Essentially, he's the biological father," Baird said.

This tropical capital has been transfixed by the Anna Nicole saga since she moved here last year. Smith gave birth to Dannielynn in September, only to see her 20-year-old son Daniel die days later at her bedside from a lethal combination of drugs. Smith died in February at age 39 in Florida.

Many in the crowd took pictures of the impromptu news conference with cameras and cell phones. One man in the crowd wore a T-shirt emblazoned with the handwritten message: "I'm the baby's daddy."

Arthur, who had been estranged from Smith for years, said she wanted to be present in her granddaughter's life, but seemed appeased by the DNA results.

"I'm happy that Dannielynn will know who her real father is," she said.

The baby, whose full name is Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, could inherit millions from Marshall's estate. Smith, a former model, had been fighting the Texas oil tycoon's family over his estimated $500 million fortune since his death in 1995.

Dannielynn DNA Results To Be Revealed

On Tuesday, April 10, the paternity of Anna Nicole Smith's baby is expected to finally be revealed. Larry Birkhead an Howard K. Stern will be in court in the Bahamas to hear if Larry's DNA matches baby Dannielynn's.

TMZ is reporting that if in fact Birkhead is determined to be the biological father, Stern will not fight him on custody. A source tells TMZ that "Howard will act in Dannielynn's best interest, because he loves her and would want a smooth transition to protect her, as she is deeply bonded to those who have been with her since birth."

Birkhead is also denying reports that he has hired a wrongful death lawyer. "I have not hired or consulted anyone to represent me in a wrongful death suit," Birhead wrote on his Web site. "That accusation is totally false. The individual that started reporting this 'fact' didn't take the time to contact me or my attorneys to find out the truth. I have not even thought that far as of yet. Paternity first. Everything else next."

Howard K. Stern Will Sue for Defamation

Howard K. Stern is recruiting one of the country’s most feared libel lawyers, L. Lin Wood of Atlanta, to take on a horde of attackers who continue to call him a killer in print and on talk shows, despite an autopsy report and exhaustive police investigation clearing him of any criminal charges in the death of Anna Nicole Smith.

Virgie Arthur’s big-talkin’, big walkin’, almost a billionaire, Texas plaintiff attorney John O’Quinn, keeps blasting Stern as a “murderer,” and will likely be among those who would quickly fall in Wood’s crosshairs if the Mercer Law School (Nancy Grace alma mater) gunslinger takes the case, and decides to pull out his recipe for Texas Toast.

On Grace’s CNN Headline News show, I watched O’Quinn dodge tough questions from guest host Diane Dimond who wondered how his client, a retired sheriff’s deputy, could afford to live large in the Bahamas as she pushes for the right to be the guardian ad litum for a granddaughter Anna never wanted her near, and gain access to perhaps a half billion dollars baby Dannielynn stands to inherit.

Objecting to the DNA release didn’t help Howards image, but that’s certainly not criminal. What his lawyers don’t understand is why his side of the story isn’t getting out, including the fact Anna did not want Larry Birkhead to have any contact with the baby, and chose a country where a birth certificate Dad–Stern– has equal or more standing than a biodad the Mom doesn’t want anything to do with and kicked to the curb.

His lawyers hope that will change if Wood comes on board, which is highly likely, sources tell me. He’s certainly no stranger to big names under suspicion, and pressed defamation claims for ex - congressman Gary Condit against, Vanity Fair writer Dominick Dunn, and against the National Enquirer, Globe, Star and American Media., Inc., in Florida, relating to the May 2001 murder of Chandra Levy in Washington, D.C. All those tabloids have been relentless in pursuing Stern as everything from enabler to killer, and the decibels have hardly died down since Dr. Perper’s autopsy report cleared him.

Virgie Arthur Going for Custody of Dannielynn

Virgie Arthur, the estranged mother of Anna Nicole Smith again will be going for custody of Anna Nicole's little baby girl Dannielynn Hope. In mid-March the Texas mother went to the Bahamas seeking guardianship of the little baby. She was shut out then and likely will be again. All of the parties will now have to wait for a ruling until next Tuesday on the DNA results. Entertainment Tonight is reporting that the stakes in the case are at an all-time high:

When the hearing resumes, the DNA results could be revealed. Even if Larry Birkhead is found to be Dannielynn's biological father, Court TV correspondent Michel Bryant says that could set up another long court battle over custody. "That won't mean Larry goes from here, gets the baby and goes to L.A.," he adds. "It will take a while."

According to ET Howard's attorney, citing Stern's Damian Gomez, each of the major players would have to prove to the court their fitness to be Dannielynn's guardian. "Whether it's Larry Birkhead or Howard K. Stern or even the grandmother, they would have to demonstrate to the court the welfare of the child is better facilitated by one of them having custody," he tells ET.

On Monday, Howard's attorney withdrew the appeal to block DNA test results in the case. The appeal sought to stop the genetic results determining the paternity of the infant girl from being made public.

Howard was also sanctioned $10,000 by the three-judge panel.

Dannielynn's Father to Be Revealed Today?

If you are holding your breath as to who Dannielynn's true father is. DNA results could be revealed as early as today. Howard's basically out of luck. If Howard is the daddy, they seriously need to do a crack baby check on Dannielynn.

The Judge Larry Seidlin Show

The quirky judge who cried in the courtroom and referred to lawyers by their hometown during the legal controversy over Anna Nicole Smith’s burial may be shopping for a television deal.

Broadcasting & Cable reports Judge Larry Seidlin and his family are in Southern California on vacation, where the legal man is expected to fit Hollywood meetings around a trip to Disneyland. According to the industry publication, Judge Joe Brown’s Executive Producer John Terenzio and CNN’s Art Harris are believed to be advising the bald bench warmer.

According to the magazine’s insiders, a host of networks and production companies could land the Judge including CBS, Warner Bros.’ Telepictures, Sony Pictures Television and Fox’s Twentieth Television. Seidlin’s one-liners, tears and nicknames have already made him infamous enough for “Saturday Night Live” regular Fred Armisen to parody him on a February broadcast.

Howard K. Stern Withdraws DNA Appeal

The lawyer-turned-partner of Anna Nicole Smith dropped his bid Monday to halt the use of DNA to prove the paternity of the former Playboy playmate's infant daughter when it appeared a Bahamas court was going to reject his appeal.

An attorney for Howard K. Stern withdrew the challenge in the face of skeptical questioning by a three-judge panel of the Court of Appeal.

All three judges said Stern filed his challenge too late and should have raised his objections before the Supreme Court ordered DNA testing in the paternity challenge filed by Larry Birkhead, a former boyfriend of Smith's who claims to be the father of the infant, Dannielynn.

Justice Emmanuel E. Osadebay noted that Stern himself had agreed to DNA testing - and even suggested an expert to do the analysis - but waited until a week after the sample was taken to file the a challenge to the court's decision.

"His problem is that the person he wanted to do the testing was not the one selected by the court," Osadebay said.

In withdrawing the appeal, Stern agreed to pay $10,000 in legal costs incurred by Birkhead and the Bahamian government department in charge of birth certificates.

Stern is listed on the birth certificate as the father of Dannielynn, who was born in the Bahamas in September. The child's DNA was tested on March 21 but the results have not been revealed.

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court is scheduled to hold a hearing in the paternity case but the lawyers and officials are prohibited by Bahamian legal rules from discussing the case, even to reveal the nature of the hearing.

The baby, whose full name is Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, could inherit millions from the estate of Smith's late husband, J. Howard Marshall II. Smith had been fighting the Texas oil tycoon's family over his estimated US$500 million fortune since his death in 1995.

Daniel Smith Inquest in Bahamas Is Expected to Resume

A judge in the Bahamas said he is close to resolving a legal issue that stalled an inquest into what caused the death of Anna Nicole Smith's 20-year-old son.

Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez said he expected to rule in a closed session Thursday on a motion filed by the estate of the former Playboy Playmate. The undisclosed issue prompted a delay in picking a jury for the inquest into the Sept. 10 death of Daniel Smith.

"It's expected that the inquest will resume shortly after" he rules on the motion, Gomez told The Associated Press.

Bahamian legal rules prohibit anyone involved in closed legal proceedings to discuss them, even to disclose the nature of a legal motion under consideration.

Soon after the session began Tuesday, Wayne Munroe, a lawyer for Anna Nicole Smith's estate, asked the judge to consider a motion that "relates to the impaneling of a jury to act on this inquiry." Gomez then ordered spectators and media to leave the courtroom.

Daniel Smith died while visiting his mother three days after she gave birth to her daughter, Dannielynn, in Nassau, the Bahamian capital. Anna Nicole Smith died Feb. 8 in Florida.

Bahamian authorities concluded that Daniel Smith died from a lethal combination of drugs, including methadone and antidepressants, but convened an inquest to determine the official cause -- whether it was an accident, suicide or perhaps even a homicide.

A Bahamian court had ordered DNA tests of Dannielynn to determine paternity, but that order has been appealed by Stern to the island's Court of Appeal, which was scheduled to hold a hearing on the matter on Monday.

Anna Nicole Smith Autopsy Report

Former Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith died of an accidental overdose of a sleeping medication and at least eight other prescription drugs, authorities said Monday.

Broward County Medical Examiner Joshua Perper said Smith died of combined drug intoxication with the sleeping medication chloral hydrate as the major factor. She had been taking a lengthy list of medications, including methadone for pain and valium, he said.

Chloral hydrate is a sedative used to treat insomnia and alcohol withdrawal, relieve anxiety and ease post-surgery pain. Perper said Smith had been on several antidepressant and antianxiety drugs prior to her death.

We found nothing to indicate any foul play, said Chief Charlie Tiger of the Seminole police department.

The short, tragic life of the former Playboy playmate and model.

Perper said the detailed autopsy also showed no evidence of disease.

The weeks after her death were filled with public courtroom drama and private whispers about what might have killed her. Officials delayed releasing the autopsy results because of additional evidence, not publicly released.

Perper’s initial examination had revealed no serious injuries to her body. Perper said then that prescription drugs, but no illegal drugs, were found in Smith’s hotel room, though he wouldn’t identify them.

Smith had arrived at the Hard Rock on Feb. 5 and planned to leave four days later aboard a new yacht that her companion Howard K. Stern was arranging to buy. She was seldom seen outside her room during her stay: She was said to be suffering from a stomach flu before she died.

Because her death was so sudden, and because her 20-year-old son Daniel died under suspicious circumstances five months earlier, there has been speculation about possible criminal activity surrounding the deaths. The Seminole Police Department investigated the case because the casino is on tribal land.

An inquest into Daniel’s death is scheduled to start Tuesday in the Bahamas, where he died.

Smith grew up in Texas and went from topless dancer to Playboy Playmate of the Year, Guess jeans model and bride of 89-year-old oilman J. Howard Marshall II. She took her fight for Marshall’s estimated $500 million fortune as far as the Supreme Court, and the ongoing battle could make her infant daughter, Dannielynn, very wealthy. Stern and two other men have claimed to be the baby’s father.

Anna Nicole Smith Preliminary Cause of Death Report

Anna Nicole Smith died with a toxic level of the sleeping medication chloral hydrate in her system.

The ENQUIRER and Star have also learned that Anna Nicole had a raging blood infection. The infection was caused by an unsterilized needle and contributed to her death.

The infection was so serious, it would have killed her if she had not overdosed.

Contrary to speculation, tests show Anna Nicole did not have methadone or any other painkilling drug in her system at the time of her death.

The ENQUIRER learned that just before she left the Bahamas for Florida on February 5, three days before she died, Anna Nicole received an injection in her left buttock.

Tests did not reveal what that substance was.

"As she boarded the plane for Miami, Anna Nicole developed a painful abscess at the site of the injection," said a source with knowledge of the case. "The needle wasn't sterile. The pain kept getting worse as the abscess got larger and larger very quickly."

From Miami, Anna Nicole and her live-in lawyer Howard K. Stern traveled to Hollywood, Fla. The pain from the abscess became excruciating and Anna Nicole developed a high fever.

By the time she got to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino her fever was 105.

Anna Nicole, unaware that her blood was being poisoned by infection, had also developed a second infection from a virulent form of norovirus, which causes intestinal problems.

It was at this point that Anna Nicole — and her entourage — made a fatal mistake. She refused to go to a hospital, a decision that would have saved her life.

Instead, Anna's people gave her an ice bath to control the fever, administered the antibiotic ciprofloxacin by mouth and gave her an over-the-counter flu medicine.

As the needle-caused infection took over her body, she began vomiting, had severe diarrhea and could not urinate.

On February 6, a Tuesday, Anna spent the whole day in bed. She could not keep fluids down. She was becoming severely dehydrated.

On Wednesday, February 7, Anna seemed somewhat better, but she wasn't, the source said.

"She was still vomiting and suffering diarrhea," said the source. "Again, she spent the whole day in bed, as the abscess continued to grow. She was in such pain, she just wanted to sleep."

And that's when the final fatal mistake was made. Sometime overnight on February 7, Anna ingested the sleeping medication chloral hydrate. The drug is extremely potent. The dose was too much — and in fact it was a toxic level. On Thursday, February 8, Anna never woke up.

A nurse found her unresponsive at about 1:30 p.m.

At 2:49 p.m., Anna Nicole Smith was pronounced dead.

Preliminary analysis indicated the cause of death was systemic sepsis syndrome, a lethal blood infection. It was caused by the abscess of the left buttock. Further investigation revealed the fatal level of chloral hydrate.

Chloral hydrate can cause depression of respiration, especially in a person who is already sick because of an infection and dehydration and it can cause death within a relatively short period of time.

Anna Nicole also had scarring from numerous injections she got in the buttocks.

Anna Nicole Smith Autopsy Results to Be Released Monday

The story is real, but I'm really tired of posting pictures of Anna Nicole and I think I've used them all up. Anyway, I decided to post this one. It will do just fine. Keep reading...

Anna Nicole Smith's autopsy report will be released Monday, more than six weeks after the former Playboy Playmate died, authorities said Thursday. The medical examiner for Broward County, Dr. Joshua Perper, and Seminole Police Chief Charlie Tiger said they will hold a joint news conference to discuss the cause of death.

Smith was found Feb. 8 in her hotel room at a tribal casino in Hollywood, Fla. An initial autopsy report showed no immediate indication of a drug overdose and no sign of major external injuries on the 39-year-old reality TV star.

Perper delayed the release of the full autopsy report after police gave him additional evidence, though authorities have not said what that is.

Prosecutors have said they are not treating the case as a homicide.

..wait there's more on Anna..Of Course!

Anna Nicole Smith's Personal Diaries sell for over 500K on ebay

A German businessman droppped over a half million on an ebay auction for two of Anna’s diaries from the early 90’s. Needless to say, he was a huge fan of the former playboy playmate, beating out bidders from The United Kingdom, The Bahama’s and The United States.
WOW! How did they get this stuff? Is it from when the house was broken into? Do you think Howard has something to do with these being sold? Where does the money go? Does anyone have any answers?

Anna Nicole's Company is Shut Down

Howard K. Stern might have to start spending Anna Nicole Smith's money a lot sooner than he thought.

TMZ has learned that a corporation started by Anna Nicole Smith and handled by Howard K. Stern -- owes more than $30,000 in back taxes and has been officially suspended by the Franchise Tax Board from doing business.

According to records from the California Secretary of State, Hot Smoochie Lips Inc. hasn't filed a tax return with the State of California since its inception in 2002, and owes $28,945 in corporate taxes! Howard K. Stern is listed as the company's "registered agent." Anna was listed as the president. But that's not all ...

The Los Angeles County Tax Collecter claims that Hot Smoochie Lips Inc. never forked over $8,920.54 in property taxes they owe on a Studio City home where Anna used to live.

On March 1, 2007, Hot Smoochie Lips, Inc. was put into suspended status by the FTB, which means they can't make any legal, financial or business transactions. It is unclear if any of Anna's other belongings, including cars, boats and other property are actually registered to Hot Smoochie Lips, Inc.

Howard K. Stern was named as executor of Anna's estate, which means that he may ultimately be the person responsible for cutting a check for all of Anna's debts.

Anna Nicole Judge Busted For Smoking Pot

A judge who had a secondary role in the recent Anna Nicole Smith proceedings was charged with smoking marijuana in a city park, police said Monday.

Lawrence Korda was smoking marijuana while sitting under a tree Sunday, police said. Three officers who were training there saw Korda and field-tested the cigarette, said Capt. Tony Rode, a police spokesman.

The judge was not arrested. He was given a misdemeanor citation to appear in court.

"Judge Korda was not given special treatment because of his status as a circuit court judge," Rode said. "He was provided with a notice to appear. That's exactly what 99 percent of other offenders would have been given for this type of offense."

The fight over control of the former Playboy Playmate and reality TV star's body began in Korda's courtroom. It ended up being heard by Circuit Judge Larry Seidlin, who carved his own slice of celebrity from the televised hearings with his relentless one-liners and blubbering announcement of his decision.

Korda heard brief arguments to determine the biological father of the baby. He ruled that a Bahamian court had jurisdiction over the child's custody.

Ever since Judge Korda heard of Anna Nicole Smith he has been smoking weed. Its a known fact that all who who have come in contact with ANS have a drug problem. Its true! After watching and writing about all the ANS drama. I myself began taking large amounts of Methadone , and Trim Spa and mixing it with a lethal combination of Slimfast.

Debra Opri and Larry Birkhead are Parting Ways.

Debra Opri and Larry Birkhead are parting ways.

TMZ is Reporting:

"Larry Birkhead's attorney Debra Opri issued a statement this morning, saying "Larry Birkhead and I have terminated our attorney-client relationship effective immediately and that there has been trouble brewing for some time, and that this split was not a surprise to either party. We know they have butted heads over various issues in the past three weeks. Larry will participate in today's hearing in the Bahamas, but will only be represented by a Bahamian attorney. We know that he has not yet retained new counsel in the United States. Opri, for her part, says "My prayers will be with Larry and Dannielynn always. "

I'm sure it has nothing to do with her BIG MOUTH. With no cameras in the court room Debra figures its time to bail.

Anna Nicole Smith Morgue Pictures - UPDATE

I caught a whole lot of criticism for posting the pictures of Anna Nicole Smith in The morgue. Mostly from people who though it was gross. That criticism was welcome. The ones that concerned me were the ones who said I shouldn't say the pictures are real. I made it perfectly clear that I wasn't sure if they were real or not. I proposed a question on JimmyShowbiz.com and here at the Blog. Are they Real? I even gave you the source so you could make your own decision. So low and behold...Rotting in my mail box this morning is this story. I'm going to print it word for word. So I am not misquoted, again.

No wonder the National Enquirer wasn't more sheepish about its phony photos of Anna Nicole Smith's corpse. They weren't phony after all—or so sources at publisher American Media are claiming.

"The photos were real," says one tipster at the company. "They were taken with a cell phone. The Enquirer had to say that they were fake to protect their source. There are only a couple people who had that kind of access to the body."

An AMI insider backs up that account, adding that legal issues had also come into play. The results: A caption claiming the images of a blue-lipped Smith in a body bag were "a photo re-creation" and editor in chief David Perel's slipperiness when asked how they'd been produced. ("There were so many different layers of how to achieve it, I couldn't even begin to describe it to you.")

One conspiracy theory posed is that the Enquirer retouched the real corpse photo to make it look like a fake, and that the larger of the two photos splashed across the spread is a recreated scene, while the smaller, more grim shot is the real deal pulled from a camera phone. That speculation, which suggests an almost unimaginable breach of journalistic ethics (even for the Enquirer) gets even spookier when taken in the context of Perel's earlier comment implying that the editor has at least seen the genuine photos of a dead Smith: "If you had our images side-by-side with the actual photos, I don't know if you'd be able to tell them apart," Perel told Radar.

Asked about these claims, Perel stuck to his story but resisted going into detail. "These were photo re-creations based on an eyewitness account," he said. Did that eyewitness happen to have a camera? "I won't talk about sources. I don't have photos of the body."

Perel's evasiveness could mean he has something to hide—or that he's not overeager to quash rumors about the photos being real, even if they're not. One longtime veteran of the Enquirer is confident it's the latter: "If they had the real photos, I guarantee you there is no way they wouldn't be saying so."

Conrad Rotondella, a New York-based digital retouching artist, says the larger image, at least, is almost certainly the result of computer chicanery. "There's a definite difference between the neck and the chin," he notes. "Also, the perspective of her face doesn't match the perspective of the body in the bag." As for the smaller image, he adds, "I can't be absolutely sure due to the quality of the photograph, but there does appear to be some Photoshop 'masking.'"

If someone can produce pictures of ANS that looks like this so we can prove the PhotoShop theory . I would appreciate it. Because I cant find one. This will be my final update on this topic. RIP Anna.

The Anna Nicole Investigation Update

I've really gotten sick of writing about this for the time being so, here's The Scoop directly from Fox News:

The medical examiner who conducted Anna Nicole Smith's autopsy will delay making his findings public at the request of Florida's Seminole Police Department, he told FOX News on Thursday.

Broward County Medical Examiner Dr. Joshua Perper said he met Wednesday with Seminole police, who told him that additional evidence had been obtained in Smith's untimely death at age 39.

Perper said it is unlikely but possible that he may change his conclusion based on this additional evidence, so he is postponing his determination for a week or two.

He also said he had spoken to everyone who had contact with Smith in the days before she died — except Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, who refused to talk to him.

California's medical board has opened an inquiry as investigators try to determine if there was any misconduct by Kapoor, who reportedly prescribed methadone to Smith under an alias.

An attorney for Kapoor, a 1996 graduate of Boston University School of Medicine, said in a statement last month that his treatment of Smith was "sound and appropriate."

FOX News forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden said it is unusual to make a delay at this point in an autopsy.

"The cause of death should be patently obvious at this time ... it sounds like there may be issues about whether it's a homicide or not," he said.

Smith's bodyguard talked to the Seminole Police Department Wednesday about the circumstances surrounding her death, TMZ reported.

Cops went to the house of "Big Moe" Wednesday morning in Pembroke Pines, Fla., because they had questions about the security camera video at the hotel where Smith died.

Big Moe told the cops Smith was on "heavy doses" of prescription drugs the day she died, including flu medicine and antibiotics, sources told TMZ.

Sources said Moe also told cops that in the months leading up to Smith's death, her companion, Howard K. Stern, gave her "some types of drugs," though he didn't specifically know which. As he put it, "Anna was in a cloud."

Stern and Smith's ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead claim to be the father of Smith's 6-month-old daughter, Dannielynn, and are battling her estranged mother for custody of the child.

Anna Nicole Smith at The Morgue

Just when I thought everyone was getting along and things were going to calm down so I can get back to reporting the regular celebrity news......A Picture of Anna Nicole Smith at the Morgue has surfaced. Can this be real? It just gives me the heebie jeebies...

...and alas another fire is brewing in the Anna Nicole Smith saga. TMZ is reporting that they have spoken to Debra Opri, Larry Birkhead's attorney and she is saying Howard K. Stern is full of BS.

"Larry Birkhead's lawyer tells TMZ there will be no negotiating with Howard K. Stern.

Debra Opri says the only subject of negotiation is "how fast he [Stern] will produce the child for a DNA test and how quickly he will allow that child to go to California with her real father."

As TMZ has been reporting, Stern has been asking Birkhead for some involvement in Dannielynn's financial affairs after paternity is established. Now Opri says, "There were never any deals. It was a one-sided discussion."

Anna Nicole Smith Laid to Rest Near Son

Her coffin covered in a pink rhinestone-studded blanket, Anna Nicole Smith was buried Friday as she lived: extravagantly dressed in a designer gown and surrounded by a small cadre of competing admirers.

Smith's mahogany coffin, topped by the pink blanket with rhinestones spelling out her name, was carried into Mount Horeb Baptist Church as hundreds of tourists and fans watched from behind steel barricades guarded by police. Some in the crowd cried out "Anna! Anna! We love you!"

Inside the church, Smith's favorite color was on display. Pink roses and flower arrangements lined the aisle and adorned the altar, where organizers placed two photos of the blonde bombshell - including one showing her in a shimmering white gown and striking a Marilyn Monroe-like pose.

There were fewer than 100 guests at the service, even though an organizer said about 300 - including an "Entertainment Tonight" camera crew - had been invited. Rock guitarist Slash, formerly of Guns N' Roses, was among the guests, and country singer Joe Nichols performed two songs, guests said.

Arthur, Birkhead and Stern took turns eulogizing the 39-year-old Smith, who died last month in a Florida hotel.

Smith was later buried next to her 20-year-old son, Daniel, who died in September of an apparent drug overdose while visiting Smith in the hospital after she gave birth. "Entertainment Tonight" said she was buried with an urn containing some of the ashes of her late husband, Texas oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II.
